TEAM Mansfield Press Release

Monday 20th March 2006

TEAM Mansfield:- "Sorry Mr. Chairman, we are not going away!"

Contrary to recent comments attributed to Mr. Haslam regarding TEAM Mansfield we would like to assure him, TEAM Mansfield members, and all Stags fans in general, that the fight goes on! Much has been achieved in the last few months:-

• The Chairman's illegal actions and loans have been exposed in the national press.

• Through pressure brought about by threatened legal action by TEAM Mansfield's solicitors the Chairman's personal loan has allegedly been paid back.

• Over 600 fans marched on Field Mill to express their anger at the management of the club by the Chairman.

• The Chairman's offer to TEAM Mansfield to bid for the club was exposed as a deceitful sham when he refused the simplest enquiry for further information by TEAM Mansfield's financial advisors. It did not come as a shock to realise that the Chairman had no real intent of entering into negotiations and had yet again treated the fans with contempt by getting their hopes up that at last he might be on his way.

TEAM Mansfield will continue their pressure in a number of ways. Firstly they will continue to push hard for the proposed club re-organisation to be completed with the hope that this might entail his departure as Chairman and bring with it greater fan involvement in the running of the club. In typical fashion this re-organisation has failed to materialise in the timescale laid down by the Chairman as can be seen by these two examples:-

1. Chad website, 13th September 2005 - "Chairman Keith Haslam also told the meeting that he was planning a 'restructuring' of the club in the next three months"
2. Chad website, 13th December 2005 - "The latest twist in an eventful week at Field Mill saw chairman Keith Haslam finally reveal his new blueprint for the future ……. the new structure is expected to be in place in January."

Additionally TEAM Mansfield will continue to add their support to other ongoing activities that are designed to ensure the club is run in a proper manner. We will also continue to work with our solicitors to ensure Mr Haslam honours his agreement with TEAM Mansfield and its members, who, we remind Mr Haslam, still hold a stake in the club.

Any questions about TEAM Mansfield should be directed to the Joint Chairmen, who are:-
