"Winning becomes a habit and if we can iron things out between now and the end of the season, rather than at the start of next year, that is going to benefit us," Holland told the Nottingham Evening Post on Tuesday.
"We can't afford to let the season peter out. It's just the consistency that we need to get back.
"The lads don't need telling that they let themselves and the club down in the last two games but they proved in the five or six games before that what a good team they are.
"If we are right then we are a match for any team in the division but if we let the standards drop then we can be beaten by anyone.
"We will be working hard at the start of this week, not to punish them, but we seem to be at our best when we do that."
