"This is without doubt the worst I have ever seen it here," he told the Nottingham Evening Post at the weekend
"Just when you think it can't get any worse, then it does. We are having to play with about six strikers in the squad when everywhere else we are down to the bare bones. A lot of the injuries are long-term ones and a lot of them are in the same place of the team which has made it really tough going for us."
Baptiste himself is no stranger to the ever growing list, and has revealed that he only trains once a week due to an ongoing Knee problem, but he is determined to see the season out "The injury has occurred from overuse and it just needs rest and ice, which I intend to give it at the end of the season.
"I thought last week that I wasn't going to be able to play the two games over the Easter weekend but, after Saturday's game it seemed ok, and it still is, touch wood.
"I have been fortunate not to have any serious injuries this season so far, just a few scrapes and scares, and it would be nice to play in every game."
If Baptiste does play the final games, he will be the only Stags player to be ever present this season.
