Speaking a few days after the superb 4-0 win over Shrewsbury, and looking ahead to the long trip to Carlise, Stags skipper and striker Richie Barker has been talking to the Nottingham Evening Post, in which he points that things have just been waiting to click for the Stags so far this season, and he hopes that the friday night win will see the Stags shoot up the League 2 table.
"We have to go on a run and, in the next few weeks, we have games where we have to make sure we are difficult to beat.
"Most teams that come up from the Conference ride high for a little bit and live on a bit of confidence so it will be difficult.
"People keep saying we are too good to go down but, until relegation is impossible, you cannot say it."
