Mansfield striker Richie Barker has no intention of becoming complacent despite reaching his career-best goal tally.
The 30-year-old Stags skipper has scored 20 goals in all competitions so far this season with his latest coming in the 2-2 Field Mill draw with derby rivals Notts County.
Barker's previous best tally had come in the 1999-2000 season when he scored 17 goals while on the books at Macclesfield.
He said: "You can't be complacent just because you've reached your best tally, you have to keep moving forward and trying hard.
"I have a personal goal I'm trying to achieve but I'll keep that to myself for now.
"But obviously it would be nice to score over the 20-goal mark and with quite a few games left, that's what I'm aiming for."
