Stockport are shooting up the League Two table, and currently lie in 6th place. In their last 5 league games, they have yet to concede a goal, and at home are currently 10 games unbeaten, with 9 wins.

Stockport's home form shouldn't worry us though, how many of us can remember 1993, when the Stags went and won 1-0 at Edegely Park on a cold February friday night, with Ian Stringfellow destorying their once proud home record of 25 home league games unbeaten. Of course that didn't stop the Stags going on to get relegated that season, hopefully history won't be repeated this season, should we do the same to Stockport this time around.

Stags boss Billy Dearden is confident his side can cause an 'upset' though, telling the Mansfield CHAD this week "We will be going to Stockport full of confidence."

"We are unbeaten in four and have scored in every game apart from Hartlepool (at home) since I came back."

"We have taken 14 points from the last 24 and should have been unbeaten."

"Certainly over the last eight games, Stockport are the form team up there with Hartlepool and would be top of the table."

The Stags will welcome back club captain Jake Buxton who returns from suspension, whilst Barry Conlon will sit out his final game following his red card at Chester.
