In a quite bizare move, the deal to drop prices to just £5 for the league game with Stockport has been scrapped.
Chairman James Derry, who was behind the move, would only comment to the official website "At the present time, I am not in control of the club and therefore I cannot make the decision to lower this Saturday's ticket prices."
"However, as people are aware, I have put a bid in to take over the club. Should this bid be successful I will allow adults to watch the first game in which I am in charge of for five pounds, providing it is not a local derby."
The move will only further anger supporters, already upset with the poor start to the season, and the ever increasing battle to rid the club of owner Keith Haslam.
