Keith Haslam has been speaking to Radio Mansfield's 103.2 Tony Delahunty, in which he responds to today's Guardian article: (Brief Highlights)
On the subject of his loan "I don't believe it to be the figure quoted, it is a figure lower than that, it's an inter company loan re: the land, that's not an issue we are discussing today. Mansfield Town is a group of companies.
"There is a directors loan outstanding, that was reported to the AGM, it's not hidden, and is being addressed"
"It's been well documented"
"It is a breach, I'm not denying that, it was wrong to do that as i wasn't in a position to repay it"
"At the AGM i informed the shareholders that i was looking to address the position by restructering"
"These issues are in hand"
"We are close to announcing on how we are addressing these issues"
"Funds are in place, it's just detail that needs to be in place"
"I regret what i've done, it's something i wasn't aware of"
"The money will be repaid in full in the near future"
Pressed by Tony on if we was going to Resign : "It might be in our restuctering program"
"If i can find a suitable chairman to take over from myself, I'll go."
