EDITORS VIEW: It is probably interesting to note that the 1500 is some 300 short of the capacity that the North Stand holds, a sign that the Safety issue won't go away for the time being.
Home fans can pay on the day, which bags the question, will away fans try and force themselves into the home end? We doubt it, as often in the past, such events have never lived up to pre-match hype. The last time County visited, they couldn't even sell their allocation of 1800. Should they remain in the top 3 however, I can see them asking for more tickets, which means if the Stags oblige with any such requests, then the only option will be to put them in the lower west stand, which then raises segregation issues.
Should, heaven forbid, that the Stags lose their next two away games, it would be fair to assume that the demand from the home contingent would not be as high as it normally would.
Much rests on the next two league games, as to how many will attend from both sides.
