In the end 0-0 was probably a fair result," Billy Dearden told the Mansfield CHAD after the game.
"I was happy with the way we battled but not the performance.
"But they are a young squad who are still learning and to go to Notts and get a point with a battling display is a good result.
"If people let us play then we can play. But if it's a battle then we can do a bit of both.
"It wasn't a good game. The pitch was a bit lively. We didn't get the ball down and play but Notts didn't allow us to.
"That is five games unbeaten. But it's no good getting a point here and not building on it and we now have two home games and our aim is to get six points from them.
