The break we have now is one good thing and gives me more time to bring in new players," boss Billy Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post on Friday.
"I have been on the phone for days and I'm now waiting for managers to come back to me. That's what it is like.
"Everyone is chasing a goalscorer, especially at this time of year. It is easier at the beginning or the end of a season rather than half way through.
"It is always difficult to replace goalscorers but sometimes you have a little bit of luck and someone comes in and scores one or two for you.
"I would like to think there is someone coming in up front before the next game, but it has to be the right person."
