The consortium headed by Derry himself, bidding to take control of Mansfield Town, has now been revealed to be made up of four other businessmen, the Mansfield CHAD has revealed.
Derry is optimistic the very public bid he his leading, will take on more pace in the near future "They are keen to move this forward so I hope something will be known soon. But for now we just have to wait and see," he told the CHAD online on Thursday.
The main other bidder in the race to take control of the Stags, saw their offer rejected, before the Stags chairman took on the role of launching his own bid for the club.
