Mansfield boss Duncan Russell is boosted by the news that Adam Murray has signed a new deal with the club.
Kevin Pilkington has also extended his stay, while strikers Luke Medley and Keigan Parker are hopeful of returning.
Eastbourne Borough assistant manager Nick Greenwood told BBC Sussex: "We've got a run of games at home and these are all games we've got to pick up points in. We know it's going to be difficult and we know where we are in the league.
"We'll give anybody a game at home and if we improve on one or two of the areas we were disappointing in against Cambridge we've got an opportunity.
"We've got to be positive and set our stall out to win our home games. We scored a lot of goals at the start of the season and we'll try and get back to that."
