Fans Call for Boycott

Stags Fans for Change, who at County were behind the fly past just prior to kick off, in which a banner said 'MTFC For Sale - HASLAM OUT', have now called on Stags supporters to hit Keith Haslam where it hurts most, in his pocket.

They have called on all those wanting the unpopular owner out of Field Mill, to boycott the Macclesfield home game on Friday 23rd March.

A leaflet handed out at Meadow Lane says that 'A one match boycott will send a straightforward message to him that we have all had enough of his 'management style'. Mr Haslam will no doubt say that by staying away you will hurt the club finacially. But ask yourself this, just who has been finacially supporting the team and club for the las 14 years and who has caused the financial damage?'
