Stags Fans for Change, who all season have beeen urging boycotts and general chanting against owner Keith Haslam, are now urging all Stags supporters to cheer the team on for one final effort, as the Stags try to get the point needed to assure League 2 football next season.
A rally call posted to the Stags Supporters Association website on Thursday said "Although the SFFC stated objective is the removal of Keith Haslam from MTFC, our primary focus is and always will be, succes for the team.
There is little doubt that the next two games are possibly the most crucial in the Club's recent history. All season SFFC has campaigned loudly for Keith Haslam to leave while at the same time getting behind the team.
On occassion it has seemed like the once vocal Stags fans had lost the will to sing and support the team on the field. This cannot be the case for the next two vital games, and the Barnet game in particular. As fans we cannot sit by and watch the young lads that Billy is forced into selecting play in silence, while Keith Haslam effectively places our fate in the hands of other clubs and the points they may or may not gain in the next two weekends.
Billy's hands have been tied and bound by the actions of a Chief Executive who cares nothing for the success of the lads on the field compared to his desire to retain the Club's finances for his personal objectives - he has shown this clearly by leaving it up to the fans to finance decent training facilities for the first time in three seasons.
As a Manager Billy can do very little at the moment except select players and tactics that he hopes will bring about the result the team so desperately needs.
As fans on the other hand, we can do plenty.
SFFC call on every single fan attending the next two games and the Barnet game in particular to literally sing their hearts out for the lads. The young lads especially need to know that they have the support of the fans and that we are willing them on to success.
The fans must give the players the encouragement they need to give them belief. We cannot wait and hope for fortunate results from Walsall or Boston - we must take things into our own hands and restore some pride back into our Club. Non-League football is not an option for MTFC. We simply do not have the right people in charge that would bring us back from the abyss of the Conference.
By singing and supporting the team we CAN make the difference. Let's not go down without a fight, let's all show Keith Haslam what Mansfield Town means to us by being that 12th man at the 11th hour.
Instead of waiting for the team to give you something to cheer about, take the initiative and give them something to play for by urging them on to victory; those lads need the fans now more than ever. They will be so nervous when they run out onto Fiel Mill on Saturday; when they do, give them the reception they could only dream of, make them think it's Cup Final day - you can do it.
Stand up, be loud and be proud to be a Stag, and when we beat Barnet and Bury, then tell Mr Haslam precisely what you think of his 14 years in charge.
SFFC"
