Haslam Tries to Gag Local Press

After running a story regarding Team Mansfield's lastest demonstrations, it appears that Chairman Keith Haslam, unhappy with the ongoing saga regarding the reporting of all demonstrations against his outstanding loans with the club, has now moved to ban the local media from the ground. Chad Sports Editor John Lomas said "The chairman said he could no longer trust the Chad because of its reporting of TEAM Mansfield."

Chad Editor Jeremy Plews said : "Ironically, many fans have criticised the Chad for being 'pro-Haslam' because we have always tried to report the concern over the loans from both sides' perspectives.
"Even without the club's co-operation, we will continue to do our best to keep readers fully informed about Mansfield Town matters."
