Hjelde Doubt For Torquay Game

With Carlton Palmer more than likely to miss the home clash with Torquay, the Stags could be without key defender John Olav Hjelde who went off injured at half time during Tuesday's game.

Palmer needs all the experience out on the pitch as he aims to deliver the Stags 1st win of the season, speaking after Tuesday's defeat, Palmer said "We have a lot of young players here and I have told them not to lose heart and keep doing the right things."

Meanwhile Adam Birchall has been called into the Welsh U21 squad to face Malta on August 16th, this shouldn't affect his selection for the Stags.
