Duo hoping for starts
Mansfield manager Paul Cox could hand starts to Ben Hutchinson and Chris Clements as he looks to end a six-game winless run in their FA Cup second-round replay against Oldham.
Both players have been on the sidelines through injury in recent weeks but featured in a behind-closed-doors match last week and were substitutes for the first team against AFC Wimbledon.
Midfielder Lee Stevenson is a doubt (calf) while defender Ritchie Sutton (thigh) remains out.
The winners will set up a FA Cup third-round meeting with Liverpool at Anfield and Stags forward Sam Clucas, who has five goals in the competition already, told the Stags' official website: "I don't think words can describe what playing at Anfield would mean.
"As a footballer, you always want to play in big stadiums against big teams.
"We're one game away from doing that and, if we can beat Oldham, it'll be unbelievable."
Oldham midfielder David Mellor is doubtful.
The 20-year-old could undergo blood tests after appearing to suffer from exhaustion when he came off early in the 1-0 loss to Brentford at the weekend, and Latics boss Lee Johnson is unsure if that was the early signs of an illness or just tiredness following a gruelling Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Chesterfield earlier in the week.
Midfielder James Wesolowski is fully recovered from a hamstring injury and forward Kirk Millar will return following ankle and calf problems.
Charlie MacDonald (thigh) and defender Edijs Joksts (back) miss out again.
A trip to Merseyside would bring not just huge monetary rewards for the Sky Bet League One club, but also provide some welcome publicity following Monday's announcement that winger Cristian Montano had been sacked after his arrest in the spot-fixing investigation.
"The lads are buzzing, everyone wants to play at Anfield and I certainly want to be in the technical area at Anfield," Johnson said.
"We should go full of confidence and excitement."
