Massive Own Goal

The chance to have a decent crowd in Field Mill for once, and against one of the promotion favourites, outweighed anything else going on at the moment.

With the recent price increases (£18 to sit behind the goal at a 4th division match is a complete joke anyway) quite obviously putting a lot of supporters off going (the crowd for the Lincoln game was a massive concern), fans were looking forward to going to the ground, and handing over just £5 to probably see the team for the first time this season.

Albeit the performances (Brentford the exception) have been poor, the team needs all the support it needs to move away from the bottom of the table, so to now go back on the £5 offer, is even more bizare.

Could it be, that given that more fans would come through the gate, that Keith Haslam is therefore concerned with yet more protests against him, and has now taken the decision to remove the offer. He then gets a smaller crowd in, and not so much shouting against him.

It is yet another complete sham, in now a long list of them coming out of the football club, the sooner a change is made at the top, then the sooner the club can move on, and hopefully before it is all a bit too late.

The only way the club is heading at the moment, is to the Conference, which would be a disaster, not only for the supporters, and the team, but the set up behind is not even geared up for the conference, it is not even Sunday League standard at the moment.

HASLAM OUT!
