With the timing probably caused to clash with the upcoming boycott for the home game with Macclesfield, Stags owner Keith Haslam has told the Nottingham Evening Post on Tuesday "I am notifying all agencies of the media that the club is up for sale. There is no question about that and no one should be left in any doubt whatsoever that this is my position.

"I look forward to receiving expressions of genuine interest and, in the meantime, my immediate responsibilities remain to MTFC players and staff and their continued financial security at the club."
