A supporters group is appealing to Mansfield fans to make donations as they look to buy the club from controversial chairman Keith Haslam.
More than 700 supporters attended a protest march before Saturday's 1-1 draw with Macclesfield, and Haslam has met with the Team Mansfield group - giving them 21 days to put together an offer to buy the club.
Colin Dobell, joint chairman of Team Mansfield, said: "Keith Haslam showed us financial information that was sufficient for us to put a bid together.
"In the last 13 years, the running of the club has been very personality driven. He has taken out an illegal loan of £1.2 million from the club to finance his lifestyle and other property projects. The focus has not been on the club.
"We need to get people to make pledges so that we can talk to other consortia about financing a bid for the club.
"Our aim is to get something on the table within the 21 day deadline."
