Lincoln manager Keith Alexander said: "I was happy with the performance of the lads except for the way they defended at the free kick which brought the equaliser. The shot went around the wall and into the bottom corner which shouldn't have happened.
"Mansfield are a decent footballing side and passed the ball well but I didn't think that they created many problems for us.
"Mansfield are playing well at the moment and it could prove to be a decent point."
Stags boss Peter Shirtliff said "I thought we played the better football. There weren't really many clear cut chances in the game. The conditions were very difficult with the wind swirling around.
"But the players showed a lot of character to fight back and it would have been a real travesty if we'd lost.
"We'll keep going until the end of the season. We're still in with a chance. If we win against Orient next weekend the outlook for us could be very different."
