HASLAM - NO MILL EXIT FOR ME
Mansfield chairman Keith Haslam has moved to counter rumours he was considering a Field Mill exit.
The Stags chairman has come under fire from certain sections of the Mansfield support following the club's dreadful start to the season which has seen them consigned to bottom spot in League Two.
Meanwhile, the players are currently in the hands of caretaker boss Peter Shirtliff who was promoted from assistant after Carlton Palmer - a personal friend of Haslam - quit as manager last month.
"I can understand supporters' frustrations at the moment, but we have to deal with the situation," Haslam said.
"There have been a lot of rumours flying around Mansfield recently - some of them crazy and all of them unfounded.
"If some supporters want me to leave, having a go at me that won't do it."
