"The tribunal to decide the compensation we receive for Cokey will be anytime within the next month but, in the meantime, if someone does come available who will be beneficial to us then we will have a look," Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post on Tuesday.
"We will see how it goes for the moment, but that doesn't mean we won't be getting a replacement."
Despite being down the bare bones in Midfield, Dearden states that he won't be rushed into buying a replacement for dpearted Giles Coke just yet.
"Sometimes you can replace a departed player from what you already have at the club. One or two of the kids are coming through and I have had a word with them and told them they have to stake their claim for a place."
