Stags fans are advised to drink in the "Cherry Tree", and "The Peacock" which can be found just down London Road near the traffic lights, right next to KFC.
A Pub next to the away end, which was used solely for away fans is now closed, it did resemble a sort of "Pink Coconut" type of place, but was handy to avoid the more notorious home support, of which their is usually plenty for this fixture, so be aware and it's probably best to avoid the town centre.
