It seems like just a couple of weeks since Carlton Palmer was being abused from the stands from his own supporters, indeed at the last away game of the season, shouts of "You don't know what your doing" was heard every 5 minutes or so, now the contrast couldn't be more vast. In the Pre-Season games so far, Carlton seems to be a fans favourite, and has even seen a standing ovation when he's left the pitch.
The turn around has a lot to do with some excellent signings, which has been met with widespread approval, although some Stags fans are still to be convinced, "Although I have to agreee that the signings look good, and Carlton has a good eye for a player, it's all about getting results, and that's what i'll be judging him on" said one following the goal less draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
Stags fans have a final chance to see all the new players when Rotherham come to Field Mill in a pre season friendly on Saturday 30th July KO 3pm, entry is £10 and £5 as in other pre season games.
