Peacock back at Field Mill

Following a £75,000 move from Carlise, Lee Peacock went onto become one of the more popular strikers seen at Field Mill, during his playing time here from October 97 to October 99.

Probably most memorable was his hat trick with the first ever outing with the yellow ball on a cold Friday evening in a 5-0 home win over Barnet on Friday 20th November 1998.

Peacock scored 32 goals for the Stags during his time at Field Mill, before moving to Manchester City in a £500,000 deal, and the Stags will have to be on their guard whilst he is in a Swindon shirt to avoid being stung by another former hero.

Peacock has scored 7 times this season.
