Jon Olav Hjelde, Gareth Jelleyman, Chris Beardsley, Jason White and Callum Lloyd have all signed one year deals to stay at Field Mill
Simon Brown is yet to sign an extension to his deal, but boss Peter Shirtliff told the official site today he was hoping this was a done deal.
"Simon Brown has the option on his contract but he is mulling over the renewed terms of a new contract. There are no problems anticipated and I would excpect that he will be signing very shortly."
Meanwhile it looks like Jason White will have a long run as Stags number one, with Shirtliff happy to look at loan keepers as cover for the Stags youngster "I have an option of bringing a keeper in on loan for the season but at this stage I am going to see how things pan out, it's a case of watch this space."
Shirtliff is also still looking at a couple more players, and revealed "We are in negotiations with a couple of players. It is a bit of a process and one of them has got to deal with a few personal issues before going any further but I am hopeful of making good progress by the end of the week."
With the pre-season games just a couple of weeks away, Shirtliff is beginging to reveal the players that will form the basis of his league two campaign.
