Despite not featuring this season as much as he'd like, Callum Llloyd told the Nottingham Evening Post this weekend, that the pressure felt by the entire squad has been intense as the Stags safety from League 2 couldn't be guarenteed, until todays win over Barnet.
He said in the interview "We were all looking out for the Wrexham result against Shrewsbury on Tuesday night and it was a bit of a surprise to see them win.
"No-one expected it, but now it is up to us to concentrate on the job in hand. I wouldn't say people in the dressing room are worried about our position, more determined that we get a point to make us safe.
"With losing our last four on the bounce at home we have lost the supporters a little bit and it is up to us to win them back in our last home game of the season.
"We want to finish the season on a high because what has happened has been tough for our fans to take."
"The fans obviously have higher expectations of success in matches at home and they want to see the team winning,".
"The pressure is intensified because we are on a bad run at home and we have not been performing there.
"I think it can affect the younger players and it can be easier to play your normal game away from home.
