Wetherspoons on the market square is open from 9am, whilst the Llloyds Number 1 bar on Carlton Street, near to Upper Parliment Street is also open from 9am.

If you are planning on heading down to Castle Wharf, then the Company Inn, which is also owned by Wetherspoons, does not open until 11am, according to the following website:
