Mansfield manager Peter Shirtliff has assured fans that off-field tribulations will not affect his preparations for the clash with near-neighbours Notts County.
Stags chairman Keith Haslam had offered to relinquish control of the club to supporters' pressure group TEAM Mansfield who claim to have "well over £100,000" at their disposal.
However, TEAM Mansfield have pulled out of any possible deal, claiming Haslam has over-valued the club and that they have been denied a detailed examination of the books.
Shirtliff, meanwhile, has his sights firmly fixed on Saturday's clash at Meadow Lane.
He said: "It has been suggested I'll be keeping one eye on the TEAM Mansfield bid but quite frankly what happens off the pitch is not my concern.
"I will be concentrating on preparing the team and coaching the players to the best of my ability."
