Shirtliff looks for Changes

Last updated : 08 May 2006 By Editor
Speaking in todays Nottingham Evening Post, Shirtliff said "Cheltenham are well organised and they have a big physical presence and that's what I want to see,"

"I think the players here think they are better than they are and I'm going to get players who want to work hard for the team.''

"I'm disappointed with the players today but I'm not going to go over the top because they have worked hard to get into the situation where we were safe.

"I am going to put this game down to experience and move on. The game has answered a few questions about some of the players' futures but I had made up my mind about most of them anyway.

"The club can move forward and it will be a very different side for the first game of next season because we had five players who are an automatic choice out.''
