Speaking to radio Nottingham after the game, Peter Shirtliff said "we probably edged it, they are a decent side. the sending off changed things, they had to change their set up accordingly but they came out positive in the second half leaving two against two at the back, and we could have had a couple more goals because of that, but fair play to them, they are 2-0 down and probably thought we'll have a go even we lose 3 or 4 nil."
"We had to defend well and i thought we played very well there. I was mentally going through the game, we had a few efforts on goal that got blocked, then we had the scramble that Richie managed to get a header in."
"Difficult decision for the sending off, I've seen them given and not given, didn't think he was going to send him off."
"They have got some good players, comfortable on the ball and have pace. People underestimate the strength of the conference against League clubs, but the confidence Gray's have from winning games, gives them everything they need"
"Richie is a good player who is enjoying his football, his confidence is getting better all the time"
"I have no preference who we get in the 3rd round, I'm just delighted to be in there"
