Speaking to the Mansfield CHAD following the 3rd defeat in 4 games for the Stags, boss Peter Shirtliff said "I am disappointed with them tonight as we have got to show more resilience than that away from home.
"It was a tight game in all honesty and there were not many chances, though Jason White made a couple of good saves after poor defending by us.
"But away from home you have to show more toughness, strength, aggression and determination than that right from one to 11. Then the minimum you come away with is 0-0.
"But they are a young side who have not learned that nasty side of the game when you do not accept second best."
"Goals change games and we had a terrific chance early on which we might have scored with a better finish.
"I am disappointed we didn't get a penalty at 1-0 as it looked like one to me."
