Luckily the vast majority of supporters had left the ground and were making the journey home.
However, some had, as usual, made their way into the bar under the West Stand, when the call came to Evacuate, and along with the local media, directors and main club sponsors from both the Stags and Lincoln they made their way to safety before the all clear was finally given.
The latest 'scare' comes hot on the heals of heaters being found turned on, under the Bishop St Stand, which is not used to house supporters. A recent Safety inspection found the potential fire risk, and immediately ordered the removal of the heaters from the stand.
