Giles Coke is still out with his ankle injury, but he is the only doubt as the Stags look to build on their impressive start so far.
Meanwhile Stockport have made a shocking start in their opening two game, losing both 2-0, at home to Hereford, and then away at Walsall.
Stockport Express - Wednesday 9th August 2006
Stockport manager Jim Gannon took an unchanged squad down to the Midlands (for the Walsall defeat) with Tes Bramble again being the only player unavailable due to a calf strain.
He will resume training on Thursday, and should be okay for Saturday's trip to Mansfield Town.
The County boss is still seeking to strengthen his squad - and there is still money in the transfer kitty - but Oldham appear to have ended, for the time being at least, any hopes of a move for sought-after wide-man Adam Griffin. Gannon said: "We haven't been able to come up with a satisfactory arrangement with Oldham, and I think they have denied the player a fantastic opportunity." Griffin hasn't even featured on the bench in either of the Latics' opening two games this term.
Meanwhile, Gannon has responded to criticism from some County fans who have expressed concerns regarding recent transfer activity - or lack of it, as some see it.
Gannon added: "I am a bit concerned that there is a certain amount of negativity and pessimism around. That can drain energy levels.
"Everybody has to remain confident and passionate about what we're trying to do here. I would encourage the minority to take a look at the bigger picture. I am trying to add quality players to the squad all the time."
