Stags boss Billy Dearden told the official Mansfield Town Website "I am delighted to have got both these players as I said when Richie Barker left I wanted to bring an experienced player in as cover.
"I have got two strong experienced professionals that I think will be of great benefit to the club"

Martin Gritton: DOB 01.06.1978
Martin Gritton joined the Imps from Grimsby Town on January 30th 2006 on a contract that will last until the summer of 2007.
Gritton, a 6'2" front man, had been with Grimsby since December 2004 after he joined them from Torquay United. He netted six goals in his 49 appearances for the Mariners, although 20 of those games came as a substitute. He joined City for a nominal fee.
The Glaswegian started his career on the non-League circuit in Cornwall, primarily with Porthleven, before signing non-contract forms at Plymouth Argyle at the beginning of 1998/99 campaign while he completed his studies at Portsmouth University.
At the start of the following season he signed on a month-to-month contract with the Pilgrims and did enough to earn himself a full-time deal. He went on to start 15 League games for Plymouth, with a further 29 coming as a substitute. He found the back of the net on seven occasions.
During his time with Plymouth, Gritton had loan spells with Yeovil Town, Irish side Shelbourne and Torquay United, who he subsequently joined on a permanent basis in September 2002.
He went on to enjoy a prolific first season with the Plainmoor outfit, scoring 16 times whilst the following season saw him help the Gulls to promotion. A cost-cutting exercise though saw Gritton join Grimsby in December 2004 for a nominal fee after he had netted 26 first team goals for the Gulls in 100 first team matches.
