The Ex-Stags youth player is set to resign for his former club, after leaving for pastures new at Doncaster, then Kidderminster, before he caught the eye of current stags boss Carlton Palmer, who has now made an offer to bring the player back to field mill.
This hasn't gone down well with Watkiss, and even though the deal is all but finished, he has gone on record as saying "They approached him on the quiet and Chris never told me, but if that's the way they want to do things then maybe they deserve each other."
