I've not played in a derby yet, but living only a few hundred yards away from the ground and being a Mansfield lad, I know exactly what it means to the fans," White told the Thursday edition of the Nottingham Evening Post.
"There will be a big crowd and hopefully it will be a sell-out. Most of our lads have played in a derby before but for those who haven't they will soon find out when they run out on Saturday.
"They will probably be a bit surprised because although it is not the biggest derby, there is certainly plenty of passion.
"For us it is a vital game because we are not winning games away from home and we are struggling to score goals.
"But we don't have that problem at home - we always look like scoring - and if we can keep a clean then anyone is going to struggle to beat us - including County on Saturday."
