Ok, ok where shall I start? Another defeat, this time to Adam Murray's Carlisle leaves The Stags once again stranded at the bottom of League 2. I didn't go to the game so I can't comment too much but after reading a few reports it sounds as though we were a little hard done by. After the game the caretaker manager decides to say "no comment" when asked why Mansfield travelled the long distance on the morning of the match. Obviously he wasn't impressed, is this a case of Mr Chairman not willing to pay for an overnight stop? Surely not (honest).
When will a new manager be confirmed? If it's going to be Peter Shirtliff then for god sake confirm it. This whole situation cannot be good for the players, it certainly isn't good for the fans and Peter Shirtliff must be left scratching his head! The players won't know what the crack is as our league position possibly suggests.
Hereford at Home on Tuesday night, a must win game for the stags just to boost a bit of confidence. Lets hope a near on first team starts to try and get a win, saying that though with Mansfield at the bottom of the pile Hereford only lie a few places below us. Reduced prices for this game, I'll be surprised if there are 1,500 there.
Haslams task for the week: Appoint a FULL TIME manager (PLEASE).
