A 4-0 win to Mansfield over Barnet gives Mr Shirtliff more hope of becoming the new Mansfield Town Manager. Judging by the reaction of Richie Barker’s celebrations with the current caretaker it looks as though he is at least the choice of the players. All in all a cracking performance, we know what this squad is capable of, now we need to perform like that week in week out. Simon Brown was magnificent throughout and fully deserved his goal. The pace of that man if frightening.

FA Cup first round against Rotherham at Millmoor, At least if we go out it won’t be a shock. No doubt with the short distance to travel and with FA Cup Fever on everyone’s mind there will be a good following to cheer on the boys. It’ll be a nice fixture for Richie Barker and Lee Williamson which sees them line up against former sides that they spent a number of years with. I’ll take the same result as we got last time we went there. A good 3-2 win with Greenacre scoring a screamer.

Rumour has it that Ronaldo will not be doing any more coloumns for this website so I’m afraid you’ll have to put up with my jibberish for a while longer… Sorry!
