Macclesfield Town luckily ensured a play-off place thanks to three clinical goals that buried mediocre Mansfield Town.
The Cheshire side took the lead in the sixth minute when giant striker Jon Parkin fired home a low 25-yard free-kick, his 25th goal of the campaign.
Mansfield nearly equalised on 12 minutes but Fraser McLachlan flew a half-volley over the bar from ten yards.
They were unlucky in the 17th minute when a Giles Coke drive burst through the grasp of Steve Wilson only to canon back off the upright.
Wilson again flapped at an Adam Rundle shot in the 43rd minute and was lucky to grab the ball at the second attempt.
He made one too many mistakes in the 56th minute but he dived over a Callum Lloyd shot to allow Mansfield an equaliser.
But his team-mates saved his blushes by retaking the lead four minutes later when Parkin picked out skipper Matthew Tipton to nod home from the six-yard line.
Giant centre-back David Morley then sealed it for the Silkmen with a 12-yard looping header, his second goal in two games.
